PAT Dogs

In 2008, which was their 25th birthday year, PAT Dogs came along so we could meet the dogs & find out more about their valuable, varied work

With around 3,500 dogs & 90 cats the volunteer animals & their owners helping over 100,000 people a WEEK receive the award winning, life enhancing benefit of contact with pets

Areas of their work include visits to hospitals, hospices, main stream & special needs education, residential & nursing homes, day care centres along with help for stroke victims, phobic children & the clinically depressed

Ann Shaw, the Leicestershire coordinator for the charity, along with local PAT dogs & their owners will be on hand to answer your questions & let you know how you & your pet could join them in their fantastic work
